Freida Pinto and Dev Patel have reportedly gone their separate ways.
Numerous sources confirmed the split between the "Slumdog Millionaire" costars to Us Weekly.
The former pair, who met on set of the Oscar-winning film in 2008, were together for almost six years.
"Dev and Freida have broken up," one insider revealed to Us, noting: "They have been done for a while."
Pinto, who is six years older than Patel, recently celebrated her 30th birthday without Patel, 24, last October. She instead rang in her milestone birthday with billionaire Siddharth Mallya.
"Freida is single and happy," another source claimed, adding: "Friends are setting her up."
Before their breakup, Pinto and Patel considered themselves "soul mates" - in Patel's case, even before they were dating. "We're soul mates because we're both in this surreal situation. She is very beautiful…I haven't got a girlfriend but Freida, my costar, is gorgeous," Patel confessed to Contact Music in 2008. Years later, Pinto told Interview magazine: "I guess he was right in a way; we are soul mates."
The two were so in love that last year they said they don't celebrate Valentine's Day because "every day should be a celebration of love."
Prior to dating Patel, the "Immortals" actress became engaged with her former publicist Rohan Antao until January 2009.
