According to the BBC, Joe Cocker has died. He was 70.
According to his agent Barrie Marshall, the iconic performer passed away after a long battle with lung cancer.
Joe rose to fame with his cover of the Beatles song "With a Little Help from My Friends," which reached number one in the UK in 1968 and was picked up as the theme song to "The Wonder Years".
The late singer is a Grammy Award winner whose original tracks include the classic "You Are So Beautiful" and his number one duet with Jennifer Warnes "Up Where We Belong." Another one of his achievements was placing number 97 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 greatest performers ever.
