Lance Bass is officially married!
The former *NSYNC singer wed artist and actor Michael Turchin on Saturday. The two tied the knot before approximately 300 friends and family members at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. Celebrity guests featured other *NSYNC members JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, as well as Lisa Vanderpump, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who both officiated the nuptials. Justin Timberlake missed the special occasion because he is still on tour.
People reported that Bass picked up Sigler and Swisher to officiate because of his closeness to the two actresses. Bass was quoted as saying: "You could easily go to a preacher, a pastor or a rabbi but I don't like that because you don't really know them. You have a stranger in charge of the most important day of your life." He added: "We loved the idea of using someone who knows us."
According to several reports, the wedding party included the pair's three dogs and the ceremony had hints of Bass' Baptist roots and Turchin's Jewish upbringing. They also exchanged vows that each had written about the other. Their wedding was shot and will be on an E! special in February.
The couple, who has been together for three years, became engaged in New Orleans in September 2013 briefly after the *NSYNC reunion at the VMAs.
