Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are officially married!
Diaz, 42, and Madden, 35, wed in Los Angeles on Monday after dating for less than a year. Their whirlwind affair culminated in a star-studded wedding at their Beverly Hills mansion.
The ceremony took place inside the pair's home, with a reception under a tent outside. Drew Barrymore and Madden's sister-in-law Nicole Richie, who introduced the newlyweds, were among the bridesmaids. Benji's nephew Sparrow, the son of Richie and Joel Madden, served as ring bearer. Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Robin Antin, Samantha Ronson and Jeffrey Katzenberg were among the celebrity guests who attended the big event. The nuptials were planned by Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove.
The newlyweds revealed to People: "We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends." A joint spokesperson further called the wedding "intimate."
According to several reports, the couple hosted a small rehearsal dinner in Beverly Hills on Sunday, with a bachelorette party also occurred during the weekend. Cameron and the Good Charlotte musician were previously romantically linked last spring and Madden moved into her residence over the summer. Diaz was seen with what seemed to be an engagement ring in December.
Madden first dated A-list celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Sophie Monk and Holly Madison. Diaz had affairs with Matt Dillon, Justin Timberlake, Alexander Rodriguez and Jared Leto. Monday's nuptials mark the first marriage for both bride and groom.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
